A Trip to the Endodontist

The endodontist has said that my four-year-old root canalled tooth is most likely infected. He presented us with three options: do nothing (stay on anti-biotics and hope it doesn't flare up), get an endodontic surgery (a reverse root canal from the gum side rather than through the tooth; hopefully cleaning out the infection, but resulting in swelling and the potential for having to pull the tooth anyway) or pull the tooth (skip the hassle and be done with it).
I've decided to do nothing. This means that I'll be on anti-biotics for a couple of weeks and toothy will hang in limbo for the next few months, hopefully being a good little pain-free tooth.
Now you all have something specific to pray for!
